I too have had ongoing issues getting Cygwin mail. My spam package regularly filters out emails for "protocol" violations which I then have to notice and release. Some were for having multiple Reply-To headers. I even got a notice from the list stating that email to me had been bouncing. So I think that the mailing list software could use some maintenance.
