I use CYGWIN=3Dtty, and have used it forever. Back in the dark ages, I reca=
ll
that there were reasons that I chose it...control character handling or
formatting? It made something I cared about work properly and four M$ opera=
ting
systems later...

I did try rxvt and didn't like the way it looked, so I stayed with a console
window and CYGWIN=3Dtty.
