Folders that I create with Cygwin using mkdir appear to be shared - sort of. They are denoted with the shared folder icon, and when I use Windows Explorer to delete them I get the warning about the folder being shared. When I look at the folder's properties, however, Explorer insists the the folder is not shared. Can someone explain how to avoid the sharing in the first place? It doesn't seem to happen to everyone. regards Steve -- Steve Holden +1 571 484 6266 +1 800 494 3119 DjangoCon US September 7-9, 2010 http://djangocon.us/ See Python Video! http://python.mirocommunity.org/ Holden Web LLC http://www.holdenweb.com/ -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
