I wrote this on this list a couple of times and I'm writing this again, as long as anybody wants to read it: Chroot is a bad hack, bad fake on Cygwin and I curse the day I added this to Cygwin. Don't use chroot and think you're safe. You're not. It's just a joke of a jail. Don't put too much work into it. I, certainly, won't.
