I am trying to build gcc 4.3.2 because I ran into an apparent bug with gcc 3.4.4. On my present cygwin (1.5.25) system, I have installed gmp and mpfr. I downloaded and extracted GCC 4.3.2 and ran ../configure inside a new target directory. However, when I run make inside that directory, NO MATTER WHAT I DO, I get the message wewo AT HP1 /cygdrive/c/gcc-4.3.2/Destination $ make [ -f stage_final ] || echo stage3 > stage_final make[1]: Entering directory `/cygdrive/c/gcc-4.3.2/Destination' -bubble'. Stop.rule to make target `stage3 make[1]: Leaving directory `/cygdrive/c/gcc-4.3.2/Destination' make: *** [all] Error 2 Has anybody experienced this before? Is there any advice where I should look next? BTW: The cygwin include files are in these local directories Includes: /cygdrive/c/cygwin/usr/include Libraries: /cygdrive/c/cygwin/lib I tried to run "configure" accordingly.
