Hi After the latest change to setup-1.7 to unpack with POSIX permissions I noticed that mc didn't start up but exited with exit code 127. The culprit was that a dependent dll, namely /usr/bin/cyggmodule-1-2-0.dll missed the execute permission. The following 3 files (after a full 1.7 install) do not have the executable bit set. /usr/bin: cyggmodule-1-2-0.dll -> glib-1.2.10-3 brltty-config -> brltty-3.10-1 shasum5.10.0 -> perl-5.10.0-5 Ciao Volker -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
