I did find it under "Portable Devices" but not under Disk Management. It's at "Location 0" and has a "device instance ID" of USB\VID_0781&PID_7460\0002FA821BB583890002FA821BB14592 I had to get Windows Media 10 in order to get Media Transfer Protocol (MTP - how clever of MS) capability before it would show up in explorer at all. I found an mtplib project on sourceforge but was hoping cygwin wouldn't need something like this. I guess I'll have to drag icons around for a while - what a drag. - Tom -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
