More specifically, can object code generated by Cygwin g++ 3.4.4 be linked with MinGW gcc 3.4.2 libraries and vice versa? For example, I know this is *not* true for MinGW g++ 3.2.1; libstdc++ changed significantly between g++ 3.2.1 and 3.4.4.
