Thanks for your reply /etc/setup/last-action says : Download,Install /var/log/setup.log.full says : 2007/04/13 16:10:43 running: D:\AVL\BASH\v2.05-6\bin\\bash.exe -c /etc/postinstall/00ash.sh 2007/04/13 16:10:45 abnormal exit: exit code=0 .... other lines with abnormal exit: exit code=0 .... 2007/04/13 16:14:14 mbox note: Installation Complete 2007/04/13 16:14:15 Ending cygwin install I'm running McAffe VirusScan Enterprise 7.0 which can cause the problem.
