And if you deleted the file and *then* notice that it didn't disappear, Windows does not allow you to move it anymore. So, either you move it right before deleting, or you're stuck. Two points, though: - P's to speed up the code are TC ;) - If somebody figures out a way to learn if a file has opened handles on it, quick and maybe in native NT code, I'd be most grateful.
