I have reinstalled the previous version 2000.11-1 and it semms to work in xterm, but only if mined is started as $ mined i.e. not in background (mined &); it leaves a file 'mined.Administrator' in '/c/Documents\ and\ Settings/Administrator/Impostazioni\ locali/Temp'. (Why a cygwin application leaves something in that directory and not in /tmp or in the user home?)
