When I use pdksh to expand the name of a file with spaces or other shell metachars in it, the filename is expanded without escaping the metacharacters. On cygwin: $ cd Whiteboards & Photos/ $ echo $KSH_VERSION @(#)PD KSH v5.2.14 99/07/13.2 On NetBSD: $ cd Whiteboards\ \&\ Photos/ $ echo $KSH_VERSION @(#)PD KSH v5.2.14 99/07/13.2 Has anyone else noticed this? I couldn't find anything in the cygwin list archives about it. -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
