I have the same problem like Thomas Smith (12 Jul 2005): "When I start the Cygwin Bash Shell for the first, I get dropped to a shell prompt and placed in /usr/bin. My Home directory isn't created..." The other problem (could not use any commands) was solved by installing an older version of coreutils. Any help appreciated, Thomas -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
