This falls in the annoyance category. Anyone have problems using scroll back history with commands that are long and split over muliple lines in the terminal? What happens is that the screen doesn't get refreshed properly and the cursor seems to placed in the wrong spot.. driving me nuts! No problems if the command is on one line, but as soon as it goes over, the scroll back gets messed up. Anyone have this problem too? An example below... Thanks! An example: Here is me doing an ls command: /opt/eclipse/configuration$ ls -la /opt/eclipse/configuration/org.eclipse.update/error_recovery.log -rwxrwx---+ 1 ikhan mkpasswd 762 May 20 12:09 /opt/eclipse/configuration/org.eclipse.update/error_recovery.log Then when I scroll back.., see how the prompt is corrupted and the cursor is in the wrong spot... /opt/eclipse/configuration$ lsn$ a /opt/eclipse/configuration/org.eclipse.update/error_recovery.log -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
