Hi all, I would like to start a Cygwin xinetd automatically on Windows startup. I've installed everything according to the instructions, but it does not work. "init" seems to be established as Windows Service which can be started and stopped. The Windows Event Viewer displays that init was running. Also, I can start/stop xinet manually using /etc/rc.d/init.d/xinetd start/stop. However, init does not start xinetd. telinit does not do the job either. (BTW: The links in /etc/rc3.d/ are present). What is going wrong? Why does the init service not work? I would greatly appreciate any help.
