Hello, I have some problems with the latest pdflatex build from the tetex-2.0.2-2 package. I could reproduce this on a WinXP prof. machine and a Win2000 machine, both using the cygwin 1.3.22-1 dll. I have a tex document that contains several images and is around 80 pages. Using the cygwin pdflatex seems to run fine nearly up to the end of the document and then results in this error message: > [73] [74])) [75] (./docname.aux (./titel.aux)) > > LaTeX Warning: There were undefined references. > > ) > (see the transcript file for additional information){ > Error: pdflatex (file /usr/share/texmf/dvips/tetex/aae443f0.enc): buffer overfl > ow > ==> Fatal error occurred, the output PDF file is not finished! The produced pdf is broken. The same files on a Solaris 8 x86 system using again pdflatex from tetex 2.0.2 result in: > [73] [74])) [75] (./docname.aux (./titel.aux)) > > LaTeX Warning: There were undefined references. > > ) > (see the transcript file for additional information){/opt/info5/tex/teTeX-2.0.2 > /share/texmf/dvips/tetex/aae443f0.enc}</opt/info5/tex/teTeX-2.0.2/share/texmf/f > onts/type1/bluesky/cm/cmmi8.pfb>{/opt/info5/tex/teTeX-2.0.2/share/texmf/dvips/p > snfss/8r.enc}</opt/info5/tex/teTeX-2.0.2/share/texmf/fonts/type1/bluesky/cm/cmm > i12.pfb>{/opt/info5/tex/teTeX-2.0.2/share/texmf/dvips/tetex/bbad153f.enc}</opt/ > info5/tex/teTeX-2.0.2/share/texmf/fonts/type1/bluesky/cm/cmsy10.pfb></opt/info5 > /tex/teTeX-2.0.2/share/texmf/fonts/type1/urw/times/utmr8a.pfb> > Output written on docname.pdf (79 pages, 481004 bytes). > Transcript written on docname.log. When I exclude some parts of the document it works fine with the cygwin pdflatex. It does not matter which part I remove as long as the text is a little bit shorter afterwards.
