Hi, Igor Pechtchanski The sun's "release notes" recommend me to download setup.exe of cygwin to install in order to use make. That is, the way was tested successfully. I try to use (gnu)make to port kvm. Somebody did it and get the different error (127). I get the error 255 and I don't understand what it means. anyway, many thanks your reply. I also look forward to a solution. thanks Eric _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 with e-mail virus protection service: 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/virus -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
