That's ok since passwd can only operate on local users. Your account
is a domain account.

Name = The user name in /etc/passwd, Password = NT password.
Are you running the daemons on the command line? That won't work.
They must run under inetd, started as service. See
/usr/doc/Cygwin/inetutils-1.3.2.README
If that's not the problem, is it possible that you have two users
called Primeran, one local user and one domain user?
