I have the cygwin X windows server + assorted tools installed on my machine; I only use it very occasionally, but it definitely used to work. Yesterday, I fired it up for the first time in months, and got the following error message when it tried to run xterm.exe: The dynamic link library cygncurses5.dll could not be found in the specified path. It's true that no such file exists on my hard drive, yet as far as I know I've installed the entire cygwin collection of tools. What am I missing? By the way, xterm certainly worked last time I used it, however many months ago that was. Thanks for any help. Richard Stanton Associate Professor of Finance Haas School of Business U.C.
