Probably.  The ndbm-emulation stuff all seems to work fine for me on
W2K/NTFS.  It won't work on W2K/NT-FAT, though.

(btw, if you want to link statically. you have to use -DGDBM_STATIC
during the compile step, but you *also* have to specify 'gcc -static'
(or 'ld -Bstatic') during the link step.
