I'm running 2K non-networked, and haven't seen any slowdown.  It remains
slow in comparison to linux.
My Norton anti-virus has lost its run-time checking feature on 2K, but
its file down-load checking is on and doesn't interfere with setup.exe
on 2K although it does on 95.
