I've just built zsh-3.1.6 from www.zsh.org and the initial time tests I did
proved that zsh is faster than ash.  When zsh is named as sh then it attempts
to be Bourne compliant.

Problems on building:

Had to fix a typo __CYGWIN instead of __CYGWIN__
On installing with `make install' the Makefiles aren't .exe aware.
