I sent this email out some time ago, and my problem reamins unresolved as of yet. my previous message read i modified my .bashrc file to match the example .bashrc file from http://www.scoutsys.com/sunt/su32/setting_up_cygwin.htm upon doing so, i get the error /opt/su is a directory.
