Subject: installing egcs-2.95 on W95/cygwin snapshot; bad libstdc++

As others have noted, egcs-2.95 builds and installs without too many hitches
on stock cygwin-b20.1 under NT or W2K. I have used my W2K installation to
cross-compile (--host=i586-cygwin32 --target=i586-pc-cygwin32) for the cygwin
snapshot 19990523 running under W95. The g77 built this way is excellent.
However, attempts to run the g++ testsuite generate frequent complaints about
not finding libstdc++. In fact, the installed copy of this library is
truncated.
