As others have noted, egcs-2.95 builds and installs without too many hitches on stock cygwin-b20.1 under NT or W2K. I have used my W2K installation to cross-compile (--host=i586-cygwin32 --target=i586-pc-cygwin32) for the cygwin snapshot 19990523 running under W95. The g77 built this way is excellent. However, attempts to run the g++ testsuite generate frequent complaints about not finding libstdc++. In fact, the installed copy of this library is truncated. -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
