Subject: | make install |
'make install' using EGCS 1.1.2 of the latest 'dev-src', all in the default directories (root '/usr/local') under NT4 SP4 on a Compaq PII gives me ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- . . . _chkstk xgcc: installation problem, cannot exec `\usr\local\src\gcc\as': No such file or directory make[1]: *** [libgcc1-asm.a] Error 1 make: *** [install-gcc] Error 2 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- '/usr/local/src/gcc/as' exists so is some function providing 'exec' a MS-DOS style pathname when it wants a Unix style one? Or does it need a 'C:' prepended to it or a '.exe' appended? Any suggestions? -- Want to unsubscribe from this list? Send a message to cygwin-unsubscribe AT sourceware DOT cygnus DOT com
