I've seen these, too. I just filter them to the trash can. However, I
suppose that Menahem Lurie needs to be warned that his mail provider is
sending the participants of the list needless mail and that if there is
no way for him to stop it that he would be removed from the list.
It sounds to me as if the mail provider is using this as a method of
advertising. And when used in conjunction with a mailing list would be
a form of Spam.
