1.5" high, 1.5" diameter, made from the trimmings of another project
out of a birch log. I had to rechuck it many times to finish it, so
it wobbles a bit when you spin it (might be due to the spalting
changing the density of the wood on one side). Live and learn...

After two coats of Danish Oil and one of paste wax. Note the spalting
on the front edge of the rim.

The other scrap I had. This one I turned without re-chucking, so
there was no concentricity issues. However, the knot you see made it
off-balance anyway. It wiggles when you spin it!
