6.5 Other Sources

Gnus can do more than just read news or mail. The methods described below allow Gnus to view directories and files as if they were newsgroups.

6.5.1 Directory Groups    You can read a directory as if it was a newsgroup.

6.5.2 Anything Groups    Dired? Who needs dired?

6.5.3 Document Groups    Single files can be the basis of a group.

6.5.4 SOUP    Reading SOUP packets "offline".
