It is often useful to inform others when you commit a
new revision of a file. The `-i' option of the
`modules' file, or the `loginfo' file, can be
used to automate this process. See section C.1 The modules file.

to, for instance, instruct CVS to mail a
message to all developers, or post a message to a local
newsgroup.
