Bug 000135

When Created: 02/03/1997 05:02:30
Against DJGPP version: 2.01
By whom: hoogenrd@natlab.research.philips.com
Abstract: go32/coff abort problem (eg. on ctrl-C/break)
If a program running under go32 crashes for some reason,
go32 tries to save some debugging information.
Under Windows 3.11, this causes my DOS-boxes to hang,
and sometimes crash the system.
I've seen this after ctrl-breaks, FP and DIV0 exceptions.
Sometimes I've seen a long debugging screen when I
`terminate' the window.

Workaround added: 02/03/1997 05:06:26

Annoyingly, but happily, V2 djgpp creates .EXE files
upon linking. These EXE files don't seem to try to
save the post-mortem information, and stop properly
after a ctrl-C, and don't even try to print the
address after a FP exeption. This means that the
problem does not occur.

Closed on 04/12/1999 12:00:32: This was a problem in v1.x.
