I am not on the mailing list so please answer me at pcyr AT po-box DOT mcgill DOT ca I am running a Mandrake 6.0 system that came equipped with pgcc-2.91.66 19990314 (looks like a snapshot). I am building a scientific application using plenty of templates and also very computation intensive. I get some disturbing numerical errors especially when my program is compiled with no optimization options. Anyway, I wanted to upgrade to pgcc-2.95.3 hoping to solve my problem. I uncompressed the binaries (as shown in the FAQ) and now everything is under /usr/local/pgcc/... and now I'm stuck. How do I get get my system to recognize that there is indeed a compiler there. The pgcc files from the distribution seem to be all over the place. Anyone upgraded their Mandrake lately? Thanks, Pierre Cyr PCyr AT PO-Box DOT McGill DOT CA
