The error i received when compiling was gcc: installation problem, cannot exec `cpp': No such file or directory. so i thought i'd be smart and copied the /lib/cpp link into /usr/bin. The error now is gcc: installation problem, cannot exec `cc1': No such file or directory. So, before i get too deep, am i on the right track or just digging a deeper grave? I use RH 5.2. Please note that I am not on this mailing list, so any replies to glang AT hotkey DOT net DOT au regards Gavin
