First of all Iīm not in the mailing list, so please send responses to my e-mail address (mailto:hans AT clinet DOT fi) Iīm having a problem with pgcc and the Linux kernel (2.0.35). If I comile everything into ther kernel, and donīt use modules, everything runs just fine. If I compile certain parts of the kernel as modules I cannot use any craphical applications such as X, or svgalib based stuff. The modules are loaded with kerneld just fine, and I donīt get any error messages. If I for example execute quake2 (svgalib) the screen flickers and is totally mixed up, I have to reset the machine because the keyboard is locked. X dies with a segfault, saying it cannot connect to the server (no such process). Both X and svgalib work just fine if I donīt use modules.. any ideas? I use "pgcc-2.91.57 19980901 (egcs-1.1 release) thanx for your help! -- Hans Dumbrajs / hans AT clinet DOT fi --------------A6D9080695B72C5F387822F6 Content-Type: text/x-vcard; charset=us-ascii; name="vcard.vcf" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Description: Card for Hans Dumbrajs Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="vcard.vcf" begin: vcard fn: Hans Dumbrajs n: Dumbrajs;Hans adr: Vuosikuja 4/20;;;Espoo;;02200;Finland email;internet: hans AT clinet DOT fi tel;work: +358-50-5941341 tel;fax: +358-9-8038016 tel;home: +358-9-88176060 x-mozilla-cpt: ;0 x-mozilla-html: TRUE version: 2.1 end: vcard --------------A6D9080695B72C5F387822F6--
