However, I'm surprised to hear this. pcb interacts with the windowing system through the gtk or motif/lesstif libraries, not directly. Could you please file a bug report on launch pad? I would suggest trying two things. I assume you're using the GTK HID at present. First, compile without open-gl support. You can pass --disable-gl to configure to do this. Second, try with the other hid library. I don't remember the configuration option off the top of my head, --with-gui=lesstif I think. I'd be interested to know if you're successful with either of these other configurations. Hi Branko-

I haven't tri= ed Wayland yet, so I have no experience with that. However, I'm surpris= ed to hear this. pcb interacts with the windowing system through the gtk or= motif/lesstif libraries, not directly.

Could= you please file a bug report on launch pad?

I wou= ld suggest trying two things. I assume you're using the GTK HID at pres= ent. First, compile without open-gl support. You can pass --disable-gl to c= onfigure to do this. Second, try with the other hid library. I don't re= member the configuration option off the top of my head, --with-gui=3Dlessti= f I think. I'd be interested to know if you're successful with eith= er of these other configurations.

Thanks,
--Chad

Hi to all,

I'm running Sway on Wayland ( instead of X11/Xorg) and would like to tr= ansfer that Wayland swiftness and response to tother applications.

gEDA/gschem seems to be running on Sway-Wayland just fine, even though prob= ably through Xwayland, but that's tolerable at the moment.

But PCB refuses to start. It doesn't exaclty crash, it just seems indef= initely stuck waiting for some event that never comes.

I thought it might be something with DBUS, so I tired compiling it without = the support for DBUS ( I don't need it anyway),

but problem persists.

Has anyone tried ( and succeeeded) in something similar ?
