Ahh, thanks, indeed, the gnetlist backend generates the script and that will probably have ElementSetAttr() actions for setting element attributes. That's good news: I think that action never permitted redundant keys, at least neither in the 2011 version nor in 4.0.0. So I think pcb never really supported redundant key imported via gnetlist so making it an explicit error won't change anyone's flow.
