Those commands created a directory and populated it with everything *except* a version.h file. > The command > ./autogen.sh && ./configure && make > will create version.h Those commands were run by me beforehand. Although the first two commands successfully ran they did not create version.h. And when "make" ran it displayed: make: don't know how to make version.h. Stop The root Makefile contains comments in lines 964-970 that more-or-less advise people to extract version.h from the tarball if necessary. After the extraction of version.h, "make" successfully runs until it reaches the "po" directory. cd geda-gaf/xorn/po make xorn.pot-update At that point "make" displays a whole slew of errors. src/python/command.py:111: warning: 'msgid' format string with unnamed arguments cannot be properly localized: The translator cannot reorder the arguments. Please consider using a format string with named arguments, and a mapping instead of a tuple for the arguments. It seems to indicate an internationalization issue on my FreeBSD 10.0 host.
