I also plan to add fritzing SVG import. Exporting an SVG version of the pins, pads, lines and polylines etc.. shouldn't be too hard, and would simplify life for the Fritzing people who can then create XML from existing formats. I'm about to refactor translate2geda, to allow ex= port of formats other than gEDA more easily, and modularise the importing c= ode. I also plan to add fritzing SVG import.
