Does GDL only support GTK3.0 now?

Back when I last = looked, it was GTK2.0.... perhaps an old version might still be considered = "stable" for use with GTK2.0 series?

GDL (docking library) would provide this functionality. Best case wo= uld be to update gschem to GTK3 and add GDL as a dependency.

GDL also remembers the state of the windows and would address others' c= omplaints in this thread.

Updating to GTK3 is a fairly big ask for one developer. And proposing GTK3 = in this list before brought up some opposition.

The main problem is the shortage of developers. It would be interesting to = see a 5-whys, fishbone, or why-because analysis on this problem. And, hear = others thoughts on potential solutions.
