I'm just saying that having a known limitation is not "worse" than being unfinished, it's just "different". I usually hit the "autoroute" button at the start of a project to get an idea of how well I've positioned the parts, but if it can't do the whole job itself I don't use it. Frankly, I think the artistic appeal of the toporouter is ruined by mixing it with straight traces. So if you have a board that needs hand-routing, the toporouter doesn't fit your needs. The older autorouter does, although it also has issues with "finishing" a board.
