Looking at the bug tracker, it seems that the fourth failure I get (hid_png3) corresponds to bug 860037. Question of interest: why is internationalisation of ascii floating point representation necessary when exporting from pcb to gerber? to my understanding, gerber standardises on "." - or is this precisely what you suggest: suppress internationalisation here (eg. by such a flag) ? But it would be good if these problems get fixed - to "throw away diagnostics" is problematic, particularly when migration to a new version is starting. I just have filed bug #883768
