Yes, that is a real mess with the current sch file format.

If you download the cvs and include all thoose sym's so you can brows
them, like:

$ grep cvs  .gEDA/gafrc
(component-library-search "/Net/cvs/cvs.gedasymbols.org/www/user" "cvs")

When working of a c-language precursor of above function in 2011,
I found out that there was 71 duplicate and 6 triplicate symbols
names in the cvs. So, current file format makes it not easy to
include and access the cvs.
