Try upgrading to newer version of Fedora. 21 is = the most recent stable version.

I am experiencing some problems with pcb crashing/ not starting if firefox = is running at the same time.
Has anyone seen this behavior before?

If pcb is already running:
Once firefox is started, pcb will run for a while but any actions (such as = opening the library window, zooming in, or opening the command line may mak= e it crash.

Firefox is already running:
opening pcb results in the main pcb window opening for just a second, then = shutting down immediately. The results are the same whether I start from th= e main menu, command line, or clicking a filename in the file manager.

The error is usually a segmentation fault in /var/log/messages:
May 11 12:04:13 fussbudget kernel: [197095.793247] pcb[24272]: segfault at = 60 ip 00007f991fa097d2 sp 00007ffc6566c4f0 error 4 in i915_dri.so[7f991f73d= 000+51c000]
May 11 12:04:13 fussbudget kernel: pcb[24272]: segfault at 60 ip 00007f991f= a097d2 sp 00007ffc6566c4f0 error 4 in i915_dri.so[7f991f73d000+51c000]

If I try to open pcb (w/ ff running) from a command line, I also get a dbus= error on stdout:

"pcb_dbus: DBus connection Error (Did not receive a reply. Possible ca= uses include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus = security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the networ= k connection was broken.)
Segmentation fault"

The only way I have been able to get pcb up & running once this happens= is to reboot the pc (and of course not open firefox) This has been happeni= ng for a few months at least. Unfortunately I can't pin it down to a ce= rtain update or anything like that. I perform fairly regular updates every = few weeks.

The pcb version is=C2=A0 20110918 (the latest one in the Fedora repo) and t= he file version I've been working with is 20070407
The system is Fedora 20 running on a 2.5 Ghz dual core Intel with 2 Gb ram.= The video is unfortunately Mesa which I have heard can cause trouble with = i915_dri.so and some graphic apps. However, This pc has always used Mesa an= d I definitely have not had this problem for ever - I've been using pcb= off and on for at least 8 years...

For the record, I have deleted & reinstalled both pcb and Firefox.
