I think Kai-Martin=E2=80=99s =E2=80=9Cessentials=E2= =80=9D library succeeds rather well as a starting point. The hard part afte= rward is damping down the expectation that expanding the library will propo= rtionally expand capability. Any common library is guaranteed to fall short= of user needs once you get beyond the simplest projects.
