A resistor footprint is R025, so what is an axial capacitor with 1/2" lead spacing? Also, unless I haven't found it, the refdes? and other stuff that sch2pcb wants to create a netlist is not clearly identified. Yes there are a number of help articles. But none of them are geared towards a n00b to make schematic from a handful of common components, and turn it into at least complete rats nest on PCB layout editor The footprint libs created by other people are great. But they are scattered about and has proven to be rather difficult to get gEDA to find them, especially when the footprints are more than more directory level deep. ~Benjamin On Tue, 2015-03-17 at 09:04 -0400, Jason White wrote: > Perhaps https://github.com/upverter/schematic-file-converter would help? > > May I ask, what do you think should be improved in PCB to make it more > user friendly?
