John Doty, I am curious about what you are saying. How would layers
and groups work in this context?

Lev, I would really like to see PCB's file format cleaned up too but
first I think the code needs to be refactored. The current
architecture is way to crusty.

To anyone : Would someone please document filled graphics in gschem. I
have gotten gotten the impression over the last few years that there
are a growing number of undocumented but fully functional features
many of us are just not aware of.
