When is targeted next release ? 2. Is https://code.launchpad.net/pcb up to date ? as it uses Bazaar, while code now is in GIT, and old sourceforge is still there ... It is confusing. 3. How do you work, as a community ? Who's the boss (or who feels responsible) ? 4. Optional : Could I do something to make a new release happens ? P.S. : I am an electrical engineer with fair background in GTK+ applications development. I know how to code a working application in my Fedora machine, but I have no experience with publishing a release... A new challenge for a newbie ? I hope to ear from you soon. As a long time "normal&= quot; user of gEDA, I was wondering what happens in PCB development
According to Wiki:
http://wiki.geda-project.org/pcb:roadmap

..."

The current plans are as follows:

  • Bug fix releases every two months or so= until we clear the backlog.
  • Start on a PCB 4.0 release that folds i= n some large design changes we've been talking about for years.
"...
The latest release was : 20110918=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 = =3D> It seems project is dead ?
I "git clone" today, = and saw many differences in code w.r.t. 20110918, so it is not dead ?
My questions so far :
1. When is targeted next release ?
2. Is https://code.launchpad.net/pcb=C2=A0 up to= date ? as it uses Bazaar, while code now is in GIT, and old sourceforge is= still there ... It is confusing.
3. How do you work, as a community ?=C2=A0 Who's the boss (o= r who feels responsible) ?
4. Optional : Could I do somethin= g to make a new release happens ?

P.S. : I am an electrical engineer with fair backg= round in GTK+ applications development.
I know how to code a = working application in my Fedora machine, but I have no experience with pub= lishing a release... A new challenge for a newbie ?

I hope to ear from you soon.
Best regards
