It's not quite as neat as I would like, as I wasn't able to get my head around modifying the body of the filename as well as just the extension. Is the correct way to get this included attaching the patch to a bug report on launchpad? It's not really a bug as such, but I'm not sure where to submit feature requests... PCB has an option for the output naming convention, we (i.e. you :) could add a "hackvana" option.
