I have had to get over some awkward video system situations, ie Nvidia failed on Mint 15 and I updated to a Radeon HD6450 (vga=771 to boot) and wow fantastic improvement all over. But even at that my wife complains about tick boxes with a Writer document report, it's bad on two machines but great on a third. I guess there are little hicks in the various drivers deep deep down below gEDA and Writer. I'm not sure how to classify and report these system level annoyances. Ian
