I successfully set >DJGPP=C:\DJGPP\DJGPP.ENV ,but if I try to set PATH=C:\DJGPP\BIN;%PATH% Win >ME won't accept it ! The second ' % ' seems to be the problem. Are you doing this in autoexec.bat, a setup.bat type file on the command line ? What is 'set; before and after trying? What is the output from the set path....? The only suggestion is to check and increase the environment space for the command.com as this could cause this sort of problem. It may allready seem to be a very large value in which case select the next size. I have not used Win ME in a long time, but did have this type of problem with the environment space on a few W98 PC's. > My knowledge >of Windows / MS-DOS is rather limited ! Funny enough Win'98 has no problems >whatsoever !
