I tried to set the global variables: set INFOKEY=c:\djgpp\bin\_info set HOME=c:\djgpp\HOME And moved the files to both directories. So now both the djgpp\bin and djgpp\HOME directories contain _info and _infokey files. When I invoke info.exe it still doesn't read the file. Maybe I compiled it wrong? I created a file _infokey in djgpp\bin: ---cut--- #var scroll-step=1 ---cut--- and compiled it: infokey.exe --output _info _infokey What I did wrong? bye, Alex
